I work in the sales department. With growing awareness of environmental issues and the arrival of an advanced information society driven by the spread of EVs, AI, and IoT, I anticipate that the value of copper will increase. I saw potential in a non-ferrous metal manufacturer that could have a direct impact on modern society, so I joined the company. Currently, I work primarily in-house, while at the same time, I am devoting myself to deepening my knowledge and understanding of our products. I find my current job both rewarding and appealing, as it allows me to build connections between our customers, factory workers, and other people who might not see each other through our products, while also realizing that our products underpin the foundations of modern society and people's lives.

I belong to the Manufacturing Department.
I had no experience in clerical work, but with the support of my senior colleagues, I am currently learning each task one by one. The work changes slightly from day to day, so I can approach my work with a fresh feeling every day. Another attractive feature of this job is that I can work across departmental boundaries.
This company has many warm-hearted people, and has a culture where people will lend a hand to anyone in need, regardless of their department. When I first joined the company, I struggled to remember the layout of the factory or people's faces and names, but they kindly guided me to the people I was looking for, which was a great help. Currently, I am constantly receiving help, but I would like to grow so that I can one day be a support for others.

I work in the rolling section of the manufacturing department, and I mainly operate a machine called a large rolling mill.
The person operating the large rolling mill must be careful not to cool the material and must keep an eye on the surroundings.
Since you have to release it, it's a machine that's difficult to get the timing right and puts pressure on you, but once you get used to it, you gradually start to understand things like, "I just need to release it at this timing!" and you start to think that this machine is really fun.
There are also many other machines in the rolling section, so I think you will have fun working there.

I work in the Forging Section of the Manufacturing Department.
During a factory tour, I decided to join the company after hearing from senior employees and seeing them at work.
I am currently in the process of making copper rings, using lathes and other machines to process them into finished products.
There is a lot to remember and it is difficult, but it is a very rewarding job and I feel like I am growing as a person.
Also, even if there is something I don't understand, my seniors will explain it to me carefully, so I think it's an environment where I can immediately consult about any concerns I have.
As you work, you will be able to acquire various qualifications and skills, which will help improve your skills.

I belong to the Quality Control Department and am responsible for product testing.
I am mainly responsible for chemical analysis using an atomic absorption spectrophotometer, mechanical tests such as tensile tests and hardness tests, and product inspections that measure dimensions and squareness.
Each job I was in charge of required slightly different skills and knowledge, so it was difficult to get used to it. However, once I acquired the skills and way of thinking, I was able to apply them to other exams, and I felt like I was growing as a person.
Furthermore, by conducting a wide range of test analysis, I have gained knowledge in a variety of fields, which has enabled me to approach problems from a different perspective when I encounter them.

I work in the Forging Department of the Manufacturing Division, where I work on copper lathe processing.
When I toured the factory, I saw all kinds of machines, large and small, and thought it looked fun, so I decided to join the company.
A lathe processes round copper using a blade called a bit, but sharpening this blade is very difficult, so it's a great feeling when you manage to sharpen it well.
The seniors are kind and easy to talk to, so I can work with peace of mind even if I don't understand something.
It's so much fun to learn different techniques.

I belong to the Manufacturing Department's Technical Division, where I repair machines in the factory and make tools used in the factory.
I joined the company because I thought I could work with machines and tools and do something that I like and that suits me.
At first, I didn't know what machines were, but by working together with my boss and helping him repair various things, I learned about many different machines.
Machines break down suddenly, so work is done on short notice, but when I finish repairs that others cannot do or modifications to make them easier to use, I get a great sense of accomplishment when people say thank you and say that they helped me.

I work in the Forging Department of the Manufacturing Division, where I forge copper.
The reason I joined the company was because I was impressed by the size of the 1000-ton press I saw during a factory tour and wanted to try it myself. I am currently working on that 1000-ton press, which was very difficult at first and I made mistakes, but with the kind and careful guidance of my seniors, I was able to gradually get used to it. Working on the 1000-ton press involves a variety of tasks, such as forging round bars and processing rings, all on one machine. There are also a variety of other machines, so I think it is a rewarding job.

I currently work in the Forging Department of the Manufacturing Division, where I mainly work on processing rings made from oxygen-free copper.
I was interested in metal processing and manufacturing, and after seeing the actual manufacturing process on a factory tour, I decided to join the company.
Oxygen-free copper rings are mainly used in parts for vehicle motors, and I feel a sense of accomplishment in making important parts that support our daily lives.
Furthermore, in the multi-skilled training, we sometimes work outside of the department we are responsible for, so there is a lot to remember and it can be busy, but we can also feel our skills improving, which makes it rewarding.
