On Saturday, February 28, 2026, we held an ISO 14001 internal auditor training course.
The lecturer was Mr. Tamura, president of Sysway Co., Ltd. The participants were 26 people, including those who are qualified as ISO9001 internal quality auditors and those who will be obtaining ISO9001 qualifications in the future. The observer was our company's president.
We formed eight groups, A to H, and each group sat down to take the class.
We learned about the overview of environmental management systems and an explanation of the requirements of the ISO14001:2015 standard.
We also learned internal audit techniques and created an internal audit checklist (EMS).
The participants were divided into groups A and B, C and D, E and F, and G and H, and using the internal audit checklist they had created, they conducted mock audits, splitting into auditors and auditees, and then switched roles and conducted another mock audit.
If you pass the final test, you will be qualified as an internal quality auditor.
