The 131st Autumn Meeting of the Japan Institute of Light Metals was held on November 5th and 6th, 2016 at the Mito Campus of Ibaraki University.
From our company, Ito and Fukuda presented the results of their research in the "Research and Development of Innovative New Structural Materials" project, which is commissioned by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
The theme session in which the presentation was given, "Latest technological developments for creating flame-retardant magnesium alloy wrought components," was the fifth such session, and lively discussions took place on plastic processing technology, joining technology, surface treatment technology, and more.
