Research presentation 2017/01/12

Received the Excellent Poster Presentation Award at the Japan Institute of Light Metals.

The Japan Institute of Light Metals' Autumn Conference was held at Ibaraki University (Mito City) from November 5th to 6th, 2016.
At this conference, the poster presented by Yoshinobu Hayakawa of our Magnesium Department won the "Excellent Poster Presentation Award."
This award is given to individuals under the age of 35 who have given outstanding presentations of their research results in poster sessions.
Hayakawa gave a presentation on "Development of wide-width materials by rolling AX81 magnesium alloy," and was awarded the prize in anticipation of his future development.
We will continue to strive to contribute to science, technology, and industry through research and development of magnesium and other materials.
