At the request of the Japan Magnesium Association, we again presented the results of our research on "Manufacturing of magnesium alloy sheets by twin-roll casting," which was presented at the 110th Spring Meeting of the Japan Institute of Light Metals.
The research presentations were conducted in the following order: company overview, background of the research, characteristics of the twin-roll casting method, evaluation of cast plates, research on magnesium die forged products, and a summary. Approximately 70 people attended the event.

(Samples exhibited on the day)
AZ91 polishing plate
AZ91 forged products
AZ61 forged products
At the previous presentation at the Japan Institute of Light Metals, many questions were asked about the experimental conditions and other research content, but this time we received many questions about the corrosion resistance and final width of the magnesium plate, which will be required when it is actually put into practical use. This experience made us realize that an increasing number of researchers and companies are placing their hopes on our company's mass production of magnesium plate materials.
We will use the questions and opinions you have given us in our future research and development. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who took the time out of their busy schedules to attend our research presentation.
Thank you all!
