Our exhibition booth
This event was organized by Sony Corporation as an exhibition for Sony engineers, bringing together 37 companies with unique technologies, with the aim of "developing brilliant technologies" held by small and medium-sized enterprises.
Additionally, Kanagawa Prefecture aims to spread the effects of Invest Kanagawa's concentration of research institutes to small and medium-sized enterprises within the prefecture.
Our company was also invited to the event in recognition of our ongoing "manufacturing of magnesium alloy thin plates using twin-roll casting method," and we exhibited magnesium alloy thin plates and forged products.
The opening ceremony on the first day was attended by Sony Corporation President Chubachi and Kanagawa Prefecture Governor Matsuzawa, who is actively promoting Invest Kanagawa, giving a strong sense of the high expectations for this new technology that will pave the way for the future.
In addition, President Chubachi and Prefectural Governor Matsuzawa also visited our booth and listened intently to an explanation given by our staff about magnesium alloy thin plates and forged products.

Visitors to this event were limited to Sony employees and employees of Sony-affiliated companies, but the total number of visitors over the two days was 1230, of which 123 visited our booth and received detailed explanations about magnesium alloy thin sheets and forged products. It was clear to see that there were very high expectations for magnesium products.
We received many opinions and questions over the two days, and we hope to use these to help with future research and development, leading to the development of even better magnesium products.
